Communication “A” Nº 7433/22 – Access to MULC

By means of Communication “A” 7433/2022 the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (“BCRA”) partially modifies the regulations contained in the Foreign Exchange Regulations issued by the BCRA (“Exterior y Cambios”) related to payments of imports of goods and services to non-residents. Regarding payment of imports of goods and in particular the exception of BCRA’s prior written consent contemplated under point 10.11.11, the Communication includes some requirements to the sworn statement to be submitted with the bank. In connection with payment of imports of services, in addition to the requirements already set forth in the regulations for accessing the foreign exchange market, BCRA now requires to submit the information required by Tax Authority under the "Integral Monitoring System for Foreign Payments of Services" (“SIMPES”) created under Tax Authority General Resolution No. 5135/2022), while financial institutions shall verify that client’s presentation with SIMPES is dully approved in order to allow the payment to the foreign service provider.

Decree 911/21 – Exportation of Bovine Meat

By means of Decree Nº 911/21, the Executive Branch, suspends and limits, until December 31st, 2023, the export of certain bovine meat cuts provided therein (beef, forequarter, hindquarter, roast beef with or without bone, flank, roast pork, roast topside, flank, shoulder, roast beef)

Resolutions 12/22, 44/22 and 49/22 – REPRO II

By means of Resolution Nº 12/2022, the Ministry of Labor adopts the recommendations issued by the Evaluation Committee of the Repro II Program, which sets forth the parameters to be met by companies in order to access the benefits under the program regarding the salaries accrued during December 2021. By means of Resolution N° 44/2022, the Ministry of Labor amends Resolution N° 938/20 which created REPRO II Program, providing modifications to certain features of the program. By means of Resolution Nº 49/2022, amended by Resolution Nº 78/2022, the Ministry of Labor sets forth the deadline for applying to REPRO II Program’s benefits regarding the salaries corresponding to January 2022 and the guidelines to be considered in order to apply the pre-selection criteria determined therein.

Administrative Decision 63/22 – Relaxation of COVID related Requirements for entering the Country

By means of Administrative Decision Nº 63/2022, the Chief of Staff sets forth that as from January 29th, 2022, argentines and residents with a complete vaccination schedule, shall no longer be obliged to evidence a negative COVID-19 PCR test to enter the country, and shall also be exempted from quarantine.

General Resolution Nº 1/22 – Expiration Terms of Companies

By means of General Resolution N° 1/2022, the Superintendence of Corporations (“IGJ”) sets forth that the expiration term of companies to be registered with IGJ shall not exceed 30 years from registration date
