Decree 267/23 – Income Tax Minimum Taxable Amount

By means of Decree Nº 267/2023, the Executive Branch increase the minimum taxable amount for income tax over employees’ monthly gross salary to the amount of AR$ 506.230.

General Resolution 5361/23 – Payment Facilities Regime

By means of General Resolution Nº 5359/2023, Tax Enforcement Authority (“AFIP”) creates a payment facilities regime for the regularization of (i) tax and social security obligations expired until April 30th, 2023, and (ii) fines and complementary charges regarding import and export duties until April 30th, 2023.

Resolution 905/23 – New Procedure for Notification of Economic Concentration Operations

By means of Resolution Nº 905/2023, the Secretary of Commerce abrogates Resolution Nº 40/2001 previously issued by the ex-Secretary of Defense of Competition and Consumers and approves a new procedure for the notification of economic concentration operations. The Resolution shall come into effect as of June 17th, 2023.

Communication “A” 7770/23 – Payments Abroad with Foreign Currency obtained from Export Operations

By means of Communication “A” Nº 7770 the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (“BCRA”) set forth that foreign currency collected from exports of goods could be used for payments abroad of capital and interest arising of certain operations of imports of goods and financial loans provided therein as long as the conditions precedent also provided in the Communication are complied.

General Resolution 5363/23 – Reference Values Applicable to Exports

By means of Resolution Nº 5363/2023, the General Direction of Customs sets forth new values of reference for export of certain products provided therein (powdered milk) to the countries also provided therein.

By means of Resolution Nº 435/2023, the Secretariat of Energy set forth the price of bioethanol obtained from sugar cane and corn destined for mandatory mixture with petrol (Law 27,640) applicable to operations performed as of May 17th, 2023.
